SWIMMING LESSONS

SURVIVAL SWIMMING LESSONS

 Floaters

I teach children that can roll and are 6 months old, how to rollback, float, rest and breathe while fully clothed.  This gives parents precious time to respond if the worst should happen.  Lesson sessions run 4-6 weeks and 4-5 days a week with 10 minute lessons each day. Lessons are taught with a 1:1 teacher/student ratio.

MAINTENANCE LESSONS

Once your child has completed their Survival Swim Lessons, you may want to enroll your child in maintenance lessons.  This helps the child to retain the important skills they learned in lessons and further cement their muscle memory.  Maintenance lessons are 10 minutes in length and  offered 1-2 times a week.  Lessons are taught with a 1:1 teacher/student ratio.

SURVIVAL SWIM LESSONS

Swim-Float-Swimmers

I will teach children that can walk and are 10 months old, how to swim-float-swim to a target and how to rollback, rest, float and breathe while fully clothed.  This gives parents precious time to respond if the worst should happen.  Lesson sessions run 4-6 weeks, 4-5 days a week with 10 minute lessons each day.  Lessons are taught with a 1:1 teacher/ student ratio.

REFRESHER LESSONS

As your child grows and develops their coordination and development do too.  Annual refresher lessons are the best way to prepare to safely enjoy the water and refresh their skills and confidence.  Lessons are 10 minutes in length for 4-8 days and have a 1:1 teacher/student ratio.

STROKE DEVELOPMENT LESSONS

I teach children and adults swimming through traditional methods and focus on the 4 competitive strokes as well as the resting strokes.  Children who are not competent swimmers must pass the Survival Swimming Lessons prior to entering traditional lessons.

GROUP SWIMMING LESSONS

After completion of the survival swim program, your child can enter group swimming lessons with other children at their age and swim ability.  Lessons will be 20-30 minutes, 1 day a week and have a 1:3 teacher/student ratio.
